The Critics' Choice is an initiative coordinated annually by the Australian Network on Young People And Tobacco (ANYPAT) as part of a strategy to reduce the prevalence of tobacco smoking amongst young people.
We have a number of advertisements from around the world for you to watch, free teacher’s resource, current background information on smoking in Australia and the opportunity for your students to vote on the ad they think is the most effective in discouraging young people from smoking.
The Critics’ Choice aligns with the Australian Curriculum: Health and Physical Education for Years 5 to 10.
All votes received from individual students either on the Student Voting Form provided and posted to Quit Tasmania or submitted online are eligible to go onto the draw to win a $100 JB HiFi voucher.
Teachers that provide their students’ votes are eligible to go into the draw to win a $500 sporting goods voucher for their school. One entry per school.
