The Quit Tasmania Google Translator tab will translate Quit smoking advice into any one of the 90 available languages.
Simply click on the Select Language tab at the top of the screen to have quit smoking advice in the language of your choice.
The feature is aimed at making it easier for people who speak languages other than English to access information about smoking and the different ways they can go about quitting.
Telephone counselling and ongoing support is available along with supporting resources through Quitline. If required, a caller can access an interpreter by contacting the Translating and Interpreting Service (TIS National) call 131 450 and then request to be connected with Quitline 13 7848. The TIS National service is available for the cost of a local call.
