For over forty years I tried to abandon the smoke habit, but failed hundreds of times. The last time I tried to quit I studied my addiction and the habits that went hand in hand with my addiction. I have not had a cigarette in over three years and these have been the best three years of my life. The thought of putting a smoke to my mouth is laughable to me now. For a couple of weeks it was tough, but every day just gets better and better. I never really listened to the ads about giving up, but when I realised after all my excuses that I was an addict, I was determined to win the battle that I had lost all my life, and have never looked back since.
Know your enemy, know what your enemy does to you and then defeat it, forever. Believe in yourself. The respect that grows within is awesome.
